Beyond My Expectations

Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect from a yoga retreat in Ladakh but wow. The combination of travel and daily practice works so well. You're moving through beautiful places but also moving through your own stuff internally. Loved the spiritual discussions at night - we talked about everything from fear to purpose to relationships. The astrology angle added something unique. Hemis Monastery visit was a highlight. Simple accommodations but comfortable enough. Such a transformative experience with a caring team behind it. I would recommend it to anyone feeling stuck.

I was himalayas yoga magic

Did this retreat with my wife and we both agreed it was the best decision. The pace is perfect - not rushed like typical tours, not too slow that you get bored. Khardung La meditation was challenging. altitude is real guys but so rewarding. Pangong Lake needs no filter, the photos don't do it justice. Yoga sessions varied daily which kept it interesting. The instructors (Ashish) were knowledgeable and funny too. The closing ceremony on day 8 was emotional, felt like saying goodbye to family.

Perfect for Beginners Like Me

I was nervous because I'd never done yoga before but they made it so easy to follow. No judgment, just encouragement. The breathwork really helped with the altitude sickness - I barely felt it after day two. Monasteries were peaceful, food was decent, and rooms were clean. What stood out was the sunset yoga at Shanti Stupa. Set the tone for everything else. The astrology session told me things about myself that I've been avoiding to see. Not life-changing maybe, but definitely life-shifting. The team was amazing and the whole trip was well planned. Good value for money considering all they pack in.

Silence That Speaks

I came here running from a bad breakup and left with so much clarity. The retreat isn't about fixing you, it's about giving you space to fix yourself. Daily meditation became my favorite part - especially at Pangong where you can hear absolutely nothing but your own thoughts. The group circles at night were therapeutic, everyone was so open and kind. Yoga Nidra on the last day made me cry.. happy tears. Leh to Hanle drive is long but worth every bump. Pack light, keep an open heart, and just let the mountains do their thing. Well planned itinerary with a supportive team throughout.

More Than Just a Trip

Signed up thinking it would be just another Ladakh tour but the yoga and astrology made this so different. I'm not even into astrology usually but the sessions actually made sense when you're sitting under those Hanle stars. The instructors never made it feel forced or preachy. Morning yoga in Nubra Valley with those sand dunes behind us was surreal. Food was simple but hearty, exactly what you need at that altitude. My only regret? Not staying longer. This 9 days package needs to be extended! Thanks Ashish, making this trip special.
